Have you tried heat transfer vinyl (HTV)? If you have not you need to stop where you are now and pick you up some to create shirts like the ones below:
These Tshirts were created for my family to purchase for my Granny's 90th birthday.

Print and cut invitation

Today's post is a print and cut technique that was done using my Pazzles die cutting machine.  My granny is turning 90 and she loves Estée Lauder White Linen perfume. I had to do her invitations in the shape of that perfume.

This machine makes creating projects like this very simple. If you have not heard of Pazzles click on the right side of my blog to see all the things it can do. Even if you have another die cutting machine you can think about joining the craft room as they have thousands of cutting files in SVG.

Let me know what you think.

Mr. & Mrs. Right Coffee Mug using Vinyl

Mr. & Mrs. Right Coffee Mugs

This is a project that looks complicated, but is so much fun.
Below are instructions for making these coffee mugs.

Supplies: Coffee mug, Oracle 651 vinyl, transfer tape, mat scraper and die cutting machine
In your die cutting machine software ( I use Invue software from Pazzles) you will draw a square that is 3.5 x 3.5 so that your text will fit in this space. Select your two images (Lips from Perfect Smile Card and Mustache) mine our from the pazzles craft room you must be a craft room member to retrieve these files. Once you have your image, you will select your font. The font that I have selected is Rockwell Extra Bold. Now that you have your image and your text, cut your vinyl 7x7 then place it on your cutting mat.  The square doesn’t have to be cut, this was used as a guide. Send your project to the cutting mat using the settings for vinyl in your software ( I use a cutting blade of 1.5, pressure of 14 and speed of 5).

Once your vinyl is cut out you will need to weed out the parts that will not be placed on your coffee mug.  Once you are done weeding, place a piece of transfer tape over your image. Use your mat scraper to go over your words so that they adhere to the transfer tape. Now peel back the transfer tape and your letters should be stuck to the tape (If any letters don’t come up, go over it again with your scraper). Position your words onto your coffee mug, using the scraper to rub over your letters making sure no bubbles appear. Finally peel back the transfer tape to reveal your final project.  This Vinyl is microwave and top rack dish washer safe.

Hope you enjoy making your own coffee mugs and don’t forget to leave me a comment below.
